React Redux Tamagotchi

Remember Tamagotchi? Now you can relive those care-free days while playing my React adaptation of this beloved game.

I created this app after attending a workshop at Frontend Masters. During the workshop we implemented the Tamagotchi game state using JavaScript and the frontend using HTML and CSS. I decided to recreate the game using React and Redux to compare the state management workflows.

By using styled components, it was simple to encapsulate the elements of the game and update their styles by reading from the Redux store.
